(She also bought the White Sideboard when she came to see the desk! :)
She wanted me to refinish a really cute little wooden file cabinet she had to match the desk. This is what it looked like~
I sanded, painted, glazed and sealed this cabinet exactly like I did the red desk. The only difference was I had to roll the paint on instead of using my spray gun because it's just too cold here! :(
She also wanted to replace the thin silver pulls with pulls that matched the desk.
I painted the inside of the drawers, lined them with super cute wrapping paper that was half off at Hobby Lobby, and did a little mod podging.
...and after the makeover~
Another crummy pic~ I had to snap these really quickly before Joey came to pick it up!
I'm hoping she'll send me pics of the two pieces together!!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did at our house! :)
Linking to these parties this week~
Okay now I have to add paint my filing cabinet to my to do list.
ReplyDeleteIt turned out great.
Santa brought me a paint sprayer for Christmas and I can't wait to get over this stupid cold so I can try it out.
Thanks for sharing your work.

ReplyDeleteI love this! You did such a great job at matching the colors. I'm now on the look out for fun paper to do my drawers with, what an expected place to have a fun print! I'm new to the blogging world, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe color is a perfect match. I love that you made the inside of the drawers pretty too! Thanks for linking up to Beyond The Picket Fence.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! You've got skills! New follower :)
ReplyDeleteI love that! How much did you charge for the filing cabinet makeover?
ReplyDeleteExcellent work! You even made the inside of the cabinet look good. It looked good before the makeover, but the new file cabinet looks more polished and pretty.
