Tiny Polka Dot Rocking Chair

I've been working on a couple of pieces this week, but have nothing to show for it so far. :)  I thought I'd share this little project today!

Last summer while at my favorite thrift shop, I found this little wooden rocking chair.

I thought it would be so cute for a little girl, so after priming, I painted it a soft pink and shabbied it up a bit on the edges with some sandpaper.

It still needed something, so I added some white polka dots.  I used this craft marshmallow we had laying around dipped in some paint to make easy peasy dots~

At the same thrift shop, I found a bag of little wooden letters.

I gave them a couple coats of white and then glued them onto the chair.

Here's the tiny rocker now~

                                                               Cute little puppy~

Maya wants to keep it for her stuffed animals, but this one has got to go, too!  :)

  4. I love the little dogs in the side. Here's the thing...I totally would've walked by that in the first shot but would have bought it as it is in the 'afters'. I really need to learn how to spot goodies like you do! I'm useless at it!
